I am a 13 year old male. I am kinda obbsessed with my cat. I have to see him every day, or else it feels like something is missing from me. Do you guys get like this? Is it kinda strange that me a 13 year old male would do this?

Not at all. You love your pet and that is great!! I freak if I haven't seen my cats in awhile. I always go looking for them just to make sure they are okay. Perfectly normal. It's great to hear that someone your age is so loving towards their animal!!

Hi, though I am not a guy...What you are describing it not common, but neither is it unheard of. It just means you have a l ot of love to give and have bonded very strongly with your cat (and I assume, he with you, as well). When you are out of town you can have your parents put him up to the phone so he can hear your voice (they LOVE that, and start purring). When you go to college, try to find a dorm or off campus apartment that will allow him to be with you. When he passes, do not be afraid to get a new cat sooner versus later - no one will ever take his place, but a new feline helps you get over your grief and channel all that love you have to give. The added benefit of the bond is you will be very in-tune with him health-wise and know, often before anyone else, if something is wrong with him. Try to find some male and/or female friends that love cats to so you do not feel so alone.

Of course its normal, not strange. I've had my cat for 13 years and I love her, I am going on vacation this week on a cruise and I'm going to miss her dearly!!! Keep loving your kitty cat!

Not at all. I have a great full life but seeing my Zoie is the highlight of my day. Also my husband who is more of a tough guy then a softy loves our cats. It makes his day when he take a nape on the weekend and the cats jumps up on the couch and takes a nape with him.

Let me tell you something, son. When God created cats he designed them, pound for pound, to be the most perfect killing machine on the planet. Nothing can equal them. Little cats as well as the big cats are capable of extreme violence. Cats are exceedingly masculine. You should be proud.

You sound like a normal cat lover to me. Just make sure that you don't carry it to an extreme. Find yourself a young lady that loves cats too.

Some people love their pets, but don't have to see them every day, then again some people do. I wouldn't be worried, but do make sure that spending time with your cat doesn't prevent you from doing other things.

Sounds like your a devoted cat owner. I am much older than you, lol..and I am very devoted to my cat, and since I don't have children she's treated like my child. Very spoiled, pampered and loved very much.
