im asking this question becuase i want to know why
my step dad would say he loves me and then dissapears from my life and taking my baby brother that i now havent seen for 2to3years so please help me out

I'm sorry for you. Sometimes there are just people like that. It happens, i guess. You get heart broken from other family members because they get mad and they do things. After, they might be scared if they say anything you'll stop loving them or do something back. Eventually, it just gets forgotten and all that's left is a dull little ache. Just stay as close as you can with the rest of your family and things may get better for you.

Sweetie there might be something going on with him and your mom and he doesnt know any better way to deal with the situation. Maybe you can call him up and tell him that you would like to make a plan to see him and the baby once a month on a saturday and he can pick you up. If he lives far - see if your parents can work something out to get you to him. Sometimes kids end up acting like the adults because the parents have not figured out yet how to deal with issues.

sometimes, we only see and feel our own pain. you don't know your step dad's problems. it's a shame what he did but you don't know why he did it. i hope someday you get to talk to him and let him know how he hurt you by walking out on you and taking your baby brother. i sure hope if you get the opportunity to talk to him, he is open enough to tell you the truth on why he did walk out, so you can put your own pain to rest. but, for the time being, try to give him the benefit of the doubt, saying he had his own problems and couldn't talk about them at the time and try not to let his leaving break your heart. instead of thinking of you loss, try to forgive him for the disappointment he caused you and look forward to the day when you can get the opportunity to talk to him about it. good luck.
