It might, but i would recommend you to go to a hairdresser instead and get a good product to make it shine....

Ok, yes it will. But it would be a pain to wash out and you would smell funny no matter how many times you shampooed and the more you wash your hair to get the mayo out the more that defeats the purpose of putting it in your hair to begin with.
Don't do this, go to the store and buy a finishing cream or gel that will do the same thing without attracting stray cats to your head.

sounds like a goopy mess... so no. but i was in syncronized swimmign and I have just the trick buy gelitan from your local store (not flavoured or coloured) and make it (usually add it to water) then put that in your hair and let it harden wait 10 minutes and wash it thouroughly out it will make ur hir soft and shiny :D

4-1/2 cup of mayo once a week use on dry hair,put a plastic bag over it . leave one for 1 hour , rinse, wash with shampoo.

It's more like a leave in conditioner. The fats in the mayo moisturize your hair and make it a little more glossy.

Mayonnaise is a deep conditioner. There's no guarantee that it will make your hair shiny.

it makes it very soft and somewhat shiny [remember to shampoo and condition after or youll smell like a sandwich]

Yep...and wrap it in plastic wrap...you can go for another 10. Mayo is a good conditioner for extremely dry hair.
