I wached a repeat on the History Channel last night of Benny Hinn and Ted Haggert for a little comic relief. Does that count?

Televangelists are sometimes weird, and preach the gospel for the wrong reasons--greed, prestige, etc. But the worst ones are usually exposed for what they are and even if they are preaching with the wrong motives, hey the gospel is being preached and some have done a lot of good for a lot of people.

Yes, I especially appreciate the one that uses the donations to pay for the services of a male prostitute and at the same time was vocal against homosexuals. Keep the donations flowing !

Tevelvangelists are very wierd, I just heard Paula White one time call herself Christ dude. Maybe these are the people that Christ one warned us about, and maybe it's because of the kind of people that athiest are going to strat growing and growing.

I would, if it seemed to make any headway in waking up the masses to the hypocrisy of religion.
sadly, that does not seem to be the case.

they do serve as comic relief, however.
