I lost my social security card and my birth certificate. And my passport is expired and was issued before I was 16 years old. How do I replace each one of those without the other?? Help!!! All I have is my driver license.

First, report it to the police.

Second, get a new birth certificate. Use your driver's license.

With your birth certificate you can get a new passport.

You can have a replacement social security card mailed to you if you live at the same place.

Good for you, you're 1/2 way to the AmeriMexican dream.

Go to Mexico. Sneak back over the border at night and get by the unarmed guards that can't shoot back. Make your way to New Orleans and stand in front of an abandoned shack holding a "Where's FEMA" sign. Wait for the checks to start rolling in.

Ok, fun over. If that's a real question, then why did it not occur to you to open a phone book, the blue pages, and look up the number for the Social Security Administration and the State Department. Or simply google "lost passport"? Did you go to a public school? They do more than write checks ya know. Not much more, but there are literally millions of gummint employees whose jobs depend on your problems.

Cant illegals get a drivers license. without the ss card and birth certificate. Lost it in the desert you know. when Juan tripped in the Rio Grande and it got washed away in the trickle of water flow. Maybe we should have a intelligent test to get into the country. No that wont work - whos left in the U.S. that is smart enough to write it. Sorry hard to be sympathetic to all the stupid stuff here.

If this is a serious question, all you have to do is go to the ss office in your area and fill out the paperwork and they will mail you a new one. Then you need to contact the state you were born in, pay a fee than they will send you a new copy.

Remain an illegal alien and you'll get all kinds of tax paid handouts. Heck, we legal citizens ought to apply for 'non-citizenship' and get all that stuff the illegals get:

(just kidding, but if we all did it they'd change things in a heartbeat)
