with all of your history in the last two weeks it could possible that you have missed your period due to stress your body may not be able to cope with your infection so it has just stopped its normal cycle. Drink plenty of water and just wait the time that the doctor has said and redo your test. Are you taking anything for the infection that may also have a side effect which is making you nauseous. Read the Side effects info that came with your medication . Hope I have been a help all the bestXX

I don't believe a kidney infection in itself can cause a missed period, but physical or mental stress can mess up your cycle. Frequent peeing, nausea, and sore breasts are classic early pregnancy symptoms. Try another home test with your first pee in the morning since the urine is more concentrated then. Or you can ask your doctor for a quantitative hCG blood test which will tell for sure if you're pregnant or not.
If you are in fact pregnant, treatment options for the infection will be limited. Make sure you get a doctor's OK before taking any drugs.

I dont think a kidney infection could cause you to miss your period, ive had several, and ive never missed mine due to them. You should take a test, just in case, and even if it comes out negative, you should still go to a gynocologist, and make sure nothing is wrong.

Well, some people only test positive on blood tests given by the doctor, but since you have already seen the doctor, then I don't know. It certainly sounds like you are.

I think you just want to be pregnant. I've been there before and trust me if you were, a pregnancy test would tell you especially being 12 days late. Chill out and sit down somewhere.
