I am 14 years old and I really want a TV for my room but my parents say I have to buy it and I cannot have directv. I I get this TV http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4926688 and this antenna http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2625059 will I be able to watch channels like 4, 11, 13 and 21? Is it really worth buying? My family has a LOT of DVDs but I don't know if it is really worth spending my birthday money on. Will the channels show up clearly and have clear sound?
Thank you for your time! Also I could play my dreamlife on it.

All you're going to get will be the local channels.....so if you like the local channels then get you a tv. You may have to buy an antennae for it......"rabbit ears"....that way it'll pick up better reception. My experience with this is that you'll get some channels pretty clear....but there's always another channel that is very fuzzy. Best of luck to you.

Personally I wouldn't allow a child a TV or video games in their room. They are distractions from homework and other chores, and should only be in a place where the parents can supervise what the child is watching/playing.

they are probably afraid of you being less active, or seeing things you shouldn't.. but youre 14, not 6. I think its time they realize that you aren't a little girl and you're going to see things regardless. some kids much younger than you are having sex and getting pregnant, they should be grateful they dont have that and reward you with tv. its not going to kill you. are there extra tvs in the house?

It depends on where you live. Ask some of your neighbors if they have TVs with regular antennas. Can they see the channels clearly? If they can, you can.
