No they don't make U gain weight. I've been in Pain management a long time & I have less of an appetite. What R U taking? If U want to lose weight eat smaller amounts when U eat. R U disabled? If that's the case U must cut back on Ur food intake, drink a lot of water to give U the full feeling. I hope this helps U

I can't imagine they would make you gain weight, maybe it's because you're not as active as you use to be before the back surgeries. Ask your doctor what exercises would be safe and try walking or running daily. Also, always watch what you eat.
