Why would thong underwear possibly be immoral? In my insignificant opinion, it is not wrong to wear thong underwear as long as one avoids imitating Monica Lewinsky, who flashed the United States' President, a married man known as William Jefferson Clinton. We all know the trouble that her actions caused the country.

I hope you are talking about footwear.... If so see below. SHOES OF THE FISHERMAN

If you are talking about underwear i think you have too much time on your hands. Read the gospel and failing that read the old testaments commandments. If you really want to see immoral underwear for christians check out the beyond evil site at Jesus 21 SHAMEFUL......

In regard to shoes - Don't be ridiculous i was raised around Jesuit Priests and they wore thongs/sandals saying mass. Jesus wore sandals and or no shoes most of the time. I think that it is the most christian footwear you can have....

Technically, you should try to stay away from all clothes that mix different fibers together. Since a lot of thongs are made from synthetic fibers, the biblical precendence would mean staying away from them. However, that is one of those rules that no one seems to care about following any longer so it has become an issue of personal preference in our modern world.

No. It's just underwear. If you like it, wear it. It is wrong for a Christian to lust after said thong, though.

Actually, most of the earlier Christians didn't even wear underwear.

He (and vise-versa) that looketh upon a woman [to whom he is not legally and lawfully married] to lust after her has committed adultery with her ALREADY, in his heart.

The real question is, "What effect does any particular piece of apparel have on the wearer and/or those who see it.?"

As long as there not causing any unclean thoughts or sin is happening because of them then I can't see why your under garments would be a problem.

I'll put this very, very simply.

Don't think of yourselves too highly. God, according to your beliefs, created the cosmos - he made the planets, and stars, and life itself, and everything we see. He created atoms and molecules and the weather.

And you think He really cares about your underwear?

Why shouldn't a Christian be as keen to avoid VPL as anyone else?
