Example you fed the poor or you visited a person in prison. Jesus said if you helped them you have helped me.

You are in Christ when you feed or cloth or give to someone else. You are knowing and getting closer to God when you do these things.

My reflection goes on to a long explanation, however too long for here.

In a nutshell, take care of each other, especially the sick and poor, give unto others. B/c he did.

God Bless

Least important brothers and sisters would to me be those who have gone astray and may no longer believe in God, or maybe they just aren't sure what to believe, but just don't know the answers and you don't turn your back on them, but help them to find him again by showing them the truth.

Jesus was all about helping the poor, downtrodden, mentally ill, outcast-type people. So by helping your neighbor, even the ones who aren't necessarily rich or powerful, you live the principles of Jesus's life.

Basically, you're helping those who can't help themselves. Why bother helping someone who's doing fine? They should use their money and resources to help those less fortunate (that's the "least" of his statement.)

The Lord wants us to express our love for him by serving the less fortunate. When we love others we are glorifying him.

That there are people out there that Jesus considers less important than others. JK

I know its figurative – just like the rest of the bible.

Well if that is even worded correctly...okay well, the VERSE means to me that ...
"We are ENTERTAINDED by ANGELS all the time"...
"To do for the very least of GODS PEOPLE is the same as DOING IT FOR GOD HIMSELF"....
Douglas.

Jesus means what you do for people is important. What you do is more important than your words.

Baptists, for example, favor words; whereas Jesus favored action.
