It's really all going to depend on what your psychiatrist suggests. You may have clinical depression, manic depression,... there are various names for depression. When I was younger, a psychiatrist prescribed "Paxil" and it didn't do a single thing for me. A few years later I was prescribed (by a different doctor) "Zoloft" and it was amazing and worked wonders.

All I can is you should see what a doctor thinks you should be on. Only they will really know what is best for you.
