Bra-strap and mid-back length is the same. Unless your bra rides up and it isn't fitted properly. I have hair that is 2.5 inches past my shoulders, I am trying to grow it to mid back. I would say mid-back and longer is long hair. Shoulder length is medium length..longer than short, shorter than long.

To the butt, that's where mine is anyway, to me mid back is medium length hair.

most people say shoulder length....... but I like if you can put it behind your shoulders and it stays then it LONG.
