If it's in the employment contract that you signed when you first started then I'm afraid you'll have to accept that. It's pretty common for employers to pay monthly. If you think about it, the company's admin costs would go through the roof if they paid daily/weekly or on request for individuals and that would mean lower pay, less benefits, and less facilities!

You have the legal right to ask to be payed weekly. Every employer will have a standard payment method and unless asked other wise will adhere to that when paying you. If you say you want to payed weekly they cant so no and have to arrange it.

If your employment agreement states annual pay periods, then you will get paid every 12 months.
Point being that you should have made yourself aware of the frequency of pay prior to accepting employment.
It's a bit late to ***** about it now.
In other words, Yes, they have every right.

Assuming "they" is your employer...they have the "right" to pay you when they see fit. I only get paid twice a month and I know several people who only get paid once a month. Yeah, it sucks, but it sure does force ya to learn how to budget your money.

When you apply or get offered a job they will tell you what are you are going to get paid and when. (If they don't ask) If this is acceptable to you then you take the job if not then don't take the job. their "right" to pay you monthly is your acceptance of that condition when you took the job QED

They also have the right to terminate their relationship with you and bring in a more mission oriented player. You're clearly not cut out to be an employee. I encourage you to think about owning a small business. You'll be happier working for yourself.
