Generally speaking no dog even comes close to a pit bull in terms of fighting ability, NOW THATS IS GENERALLY SPEAKING there are exceptions to every rule and pit bulls do not have locking jaws they just have very strong jaw muscles and the one thing that makes them the best at whatever they do is their gameness this is the ability of a pit bull to continue doing whatever it sets its mind to no matter how bad the odds are stacked agains it being successfull thats what made them the best fighter/weightpullers/whatever you ask of them

But i think your question is can they get along if you get one as an adult its iffy but a well socialized pup should be able to tolerate another dog however never turst them not to fight its not their fault thats what they are supposed to do thats what they were bred to do for hundreds of years if you allow a situation where i could happen is your fault. And if you have to ask they probobly arent the breed for you. DO YOU RESEARCH

depends on the temperament. while pits have jaws that can lock onto anything, a German shepherd is pretty tough and can out smart a Pit

Hello. I want a pit bull, and my boyfriend wants a german shepherd, so we are eventually going to have both. As long as you intoduce them properly, and make sure they are both well socialized they should do fine together.
