If you are in college, go to the student activities office and get movie tickets there. Most colleges' Student Activities Office will have discounted tix available for students to purchase. Or, if you're near a city or town center, grab a coffee at the local coffee shop. This can be an intimate, yet affordable date!

Probably a cheap and money less date would be a picnic. Just make sanddwiches and go to the country or park and enjoy the day. Also take kites or go out walking in the fields and collect all kinds of different flowers. ALl that counts is that you'll are together.

Stroll by the waterfront.
Watch football game at the bar.
Icecream sudaes.
Coffee shop.
Going to the mall and having a mission to find eachother a gift under $10.
Going grocery shopping and making lunch/dinner together.
Going on a small hike.
Bike ride.
Go to church.
DVDs, Pizza and beer.
Catch a matinee then make ice cream sundaes at home.
Build a fire in the fireplace and make s'mores.
Dance club, go early so you aren't charged cover.

Read the newspaper on Friday. Usually there is a show or something going on for free. (May depend on time of year). You could also try going to a local art museum. There is typically a small cafe to talk about all of the interesting art you walked around and looked at together.

I sounds cliche, but go to the park, eat some sanwiches or something, go for a long walk... then go back to the house and cuddle up to a movie.
Simple, cheap, but still fun and romantic.

go for a walk. guys don't care about a wow factor or how much money you spent. they care about YOU! talking with you for an hour or so with just the two of you is better than going out to a club or dinner! hih :)
