Hey Dudette,

You have to reinstall it with the original CD and keycode. This is the legal thing to do.

However, I would suggest that you take a peek at http://www.openoffice.org and download/install it. It is really good and FREE!

Sincerely,

Tom

Wow deleted? You should uninstall it. That could be why your LT memory has reached a critical level. When you just delete things it bogs down your system, can even fry it.
There is two kinds of Memory,1is the ram "check your system resources"
The other is your Hard drive. I recommend you format your hard drive and reinstal your OS and drivers. If you do not know how to do that,it'll cost you a few bucks70-100 bucks.

Ok, so the same thing happened to me just yesterday. There is only way to get all of office back and that is through the disk. You can call the company, send in your labtop, have them take it apart looking for a key, and then find nothing......thats a waste of time. Also I know you can use programs like limewire to download another copy of Office, you will need your serial number in order to fully download it.

Firstly check you didn't just send to recycle bin, if they are there just click the files and click restore. If not, you'll have to reinstall from cd as you've removed the files.

System restore will not work as it only cache's registry and system preferences, and no "undelete" software will work either as these work on a system of cache.

It depends on your operating system. If you have Xp, use the System restore feature and go back the a "point" where you had the office software and Micrsoft windows would undo the changes made to your system. It is ahandy thing to have. Otherwise, you would physically go out and buy the software.

If it came with the computer it should be with the original disks, otherwise you will probably have to purchase it. You could try going to Microsoft website and see if it is available there. Good Luck!

Did your laptop come with any CDs or bundled software? It might be included on one of those.

If not, then click start, accessories, system tools, and then system restore. Roll back to the date before you uninstalled it.

You get the recovery CDs that came with your computer and re-install from there.

By the way, if you want to decreae memory usage, you close down the windows you're not using, not un-install and delete files.
