It really all depends on what you want in a dog Pit bulls can do just about anything they are trained to do and they usually do it very well, Labs are great dogs too the biggest difference is if you own a pit bull be ready for some dog agressive behavior they will love ppl and do anything to please them and be a great family dog but most have some level of dog agressiveness

It really depends on yourlife style. Personally, I would rather have a Pit Bull over a lab; from a good breeder and trained correctly, they are wonderful dogs. Labs just arent my cup of tea.

I prefer Pits. Because they are smaller in stature than a Lab. and in my opinion not as thick headed ( Stubborn ). Really it depends what you are looking for my pits do not leave my side they are my best friends.

A pitbull is a worthless dog,it does nothing.A Lab on the other hand ,if trained right can be your best pal and you never have to worry about it attacking kids.They are protective ,just not out of control.I had one for 15 years no one can replace Ol' Jack.

i think they are both nice dogs.
pitbulls have a bad stereotype. Pitbulls can be like any other dog. If they are ABUSED they will be mean, but so would a lab. they are both protective and both very, very SWEET. :] i like them both the same ;]

pit bull is better if you need it to prtect your home but if you have kids then there not safe
