Bible based slavery laws already exist in the US. It is called "indebted servants". The Bible permitted a person to "sell" themselves to someone for a period of no more than seven years in order to pay off their debts.

The type of slavery where people were brought and sold like animals against their will is not approved anywhere in scripture. It did, however, exist in the cultures around the Jewish and in which many of the early Christians lived. So the Bible does contain guidelines on how to conduct yourself should you be forced into a position as a slave.

But the Bible does not condone what we in western culture think of as "slavery".

the present regulation of marriage it truly is upheld in some 40 seven-40 8/50 states is in accordance with what the bible defines marriage as. it truly is yet another one in all those "enable's objective gays when you consider that maximum anybody is ignorant sufficient to trust they are evil" issues. yet by using their perspective, if that one element must be depending off the bible, then why do not you each thing else? would they fairly like it in the experience that they'd nicely be finished for dressing in black? i don't believe of so.

Always take note that humans have done slavery to THEMSELVES. The Bible only makes provision for them because God knew people would do it anyway but you see freedom as a theme running through the Bible. Mankind was not meant to be physical slaves nor slaves to sin. In fact even in parts of the OT God says that the people of Israel were not to be bought and sold as slaves.

Well it certainly follows Christian logic. According to them biblical definitions of fill-in-the-blank must be protected at all costs. Too bad the flaws in their logical that you're pointing out will be lost on most of those tiny brains they have.

Should the women still wear whale bone frocks and wigs when they go out in public. Some people like to keep themselves stuck in the dark ages I guess.

You KNOW that most nations and tribes of the world throughout history have the same knowldge of what marriage is with or WITHOUT the Bible.

You are just rebelling against common sense to satify your own ideas.
