does anyone know the reason for eyelids to twitch im not nervous in any way as far as im aware if i concentrate on it for example look into the mirror it dosent happen but iff im watchin tv or out socialising it twitches like crazy but its only my left eye.
please help

can just be tired eyes. happens to me when i'm burning the candle at both ends. you think it's glaringly obvious to other people, but it's hardly noticable. Better not to focus on, or worry about it. If you make your major focus other people, you'll hardly notice it yourself either.-sw

Mine used to do it if i was really tired. No one else noticed it though and it hasn't happened for a long time now.
If your worried about go and check with your dr but it's nothing really serious just the muscles in your eye contracting

Mine's been doing it for the last week! When I look in the mirror, I can actually see it twitching too!!
Apparently it's tiredness and/or stress. Nothing serious. Bl**dy irritating though!!

It's not a big problem, if you're worried about it try gently stretching your whole body.

Are you taking any medication?
Mine do it frequently

Ha! i hate it when i get that, you feel like everyone else can see it (but they can't). It lasts for ages too

mum (who's a nurse) says its irritation to nerve endings and we all get it from time to time
