My boyfriend and I live together. I am going through divorce. My boyfriends wife wants him back after previously agreeing she wanted a separation and abusing him. I have told him to go back but he wants to be with me.

if you want to be with him then why would you want him to go back to his wife? especially when she abused him. i think that you should keep him around after all he says he wants to be with you :)

Okay, first, you are involved in an adulterous relationship. However, thats not the big issue here. Your boyfriends wife abused him and now she wants him back. You are telling him to go. There is something wrong here. Why you you tell him to go? I mean aside from the fact that she is his wife, but are they getting a divorce? Does he want a divorce from her? Why hasn't he taken steps to end their marriage before this?
Step back and look at the situation... then tell him what would be best for you guys.

Keep him. Let him know how you feel. If this situation with the ex is really bothering you then let him know. Maybe he hasn't made it clear enough to the ex that he doesn't want her anymore. Obviously he wants to be with you if he is living with you. I believe honesty is the best policy...so just be honest and let him know how this is upsetting you.

Umm...you told him to go back? Shouldn't you be asking how to keep him? If you don't want to be in a relationship with him anymore, just break up with him.
