Boys never like me, why?

Question

I've had guys call me pretty, and guy friends call me attractive. This drives me absolutely insane, because I'm 16 and have never dated anyone. I'm studious, take school as seriously as one can, practice the flute a lot, ski race, and other normal things. I have an atheltic body, not fat and good skin. Wear clothes that complement my body and aren't inappropriate. I gave up on guys for a while, but then decided not to. Now I don't know what to do. It always seems as if guys who are too old intrigue me and they are attracted to me. It's like the person I'll some day meet and date will be older than me, but how hard is it to find someone my age? What can I do? And I do flirt, but just friendly stuff nothing yucky. I'm just really frustrated, and I've been told I'm too straight edge or serious by people. Trust me I'm not very serious even if I am straight edge. So what if I've got drive at school and in my life, it's junior year so what's to be expected? This whole problem depresses me.

Haha, you DO sound very serious. Although, I do think that as a junior that is exactly the kind of attitude you want to have. For messing around with boys, I say save it for the first two years of college. You'll meet a lot of interesting guys that you haven't had to put up with for years, and get a lot of experience so long as you keep your mind open.

My opinion is that so far you are doing a GREAT job with keeping your life in order. Keep it up!

Don't be depressed...the guy will come along, I promise. In fact, they probably do like you but you seem to have so much going for you that they may be intimidated to ask you out. The brave one will prevail and you will have a date.

There is someone out there for everyone. Most people meet in like college or sumthin so dont feel bad. you will meet the perfect guy eventually. maybe guys do like you but you don't kno. just be yourself because if you dont act like who you really are someone who likes you will be falling in love with someone else. hih!

same thing happened to me before, ppl adores me, they just love me and I know m not that ugly, and I have those style, but none of them asked me to be their gf before... I know how does it feel..

may be you are too pretty, and too good for them, so that those guys doesnt dare to approach you, since you can do anything that they cant do, and they feel, it just makes em as a fool infront of you... but sure, dont leave what is your good point, to make em feel good infront of you..

my advice darling, its ok... doesnt need to look for a lover. coz one day you could get the one that really suits you.
and yeah, dont look and be flirty, it doesnt do good. just keep cool, and show em you arent cheap.
