My heart goes out to you, I have a similar problem, the only thing I can say to you,is follow your instincts, they are rarely wrong.
By the sounds of things, I WOULD take action now, rather then wait and regret it. You will be acting on every ones best interest, may not be appreciated at present, you have a bumpy ride to endure, but what alternative have you?
Speak to your GP and get as much help and support in as possible, especially as there are young children possibly at risk.
You need all the support you can get, good family, friends and neighbours. Don't do this on your own! Don't think about it, DO IT! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Put her children somewhere safe and get her to a hospital immediately these are definitely very bad signs, you need to waste no time in case she does do something bad, so please I urge you get off the computer and call an ambulance to get her! don't tell her though she may try and take off she needs help
You have the chance to stop everything before it all falls apart! so do something! also you could be in serious legal trouble if she does kill her children and you already knew about her plans but did nothing, so be a mother and help her she has already reached out to you for help telling you her wishes so help her! stop it all before it's too late

Dont get upset, it will only make you need a hospital.

Did she recently give birth? Most people have heard of post-partum depression, but there is also such a thing as post-partum psychosis. This is incredibly serious, she needs treatment immediately. Her and her children need to be kept safe. Your concerns are valid, do whatever you need to do to help her.
I'm sure you know already, there is an increased risk of schizophrenia in siblings of people who have it. There is definitely a genetic link.

get immediate help, the sooner your daughter can get the right treatment she needs, the sooner she can become well again,it can be done, it is the closest family members that know when a person needs help, has the person themselves may not realise how ill they have become, and she obviously needs proffesional help, now. wishing you all the best and recovery for your daughters.
