I really really dislike going to the dentist! So I was hoping someone might know if there are any dentists who anaesthetise you like they do in the US?

You have to go to a dental hospital these days to get a general anaesthetic.

But all dentists will give you a "happy pill" or 2 to relax you, on top of a local anaesthetic.

If you're really scared of dentists, phone any dentist in your area and ask who the local specialist is dealing with people who have a phobia about it.

I'm absolutely terrified of dentists, but I had such bad pain in my root canal all the way up to my ear that I had to cave in and go-I went to a very good dentist in the South East, in Surrey. They specialise in micro-dentistry so it's much less intrusive than your normal dentist, even for minor things. - i had a root canal done (im only 21 so its not the norm!) and didnt feel a thing (they even give you video glasses so you can watch a DVD!) the only thing that hurt was the bill after. If you want to know the name drop me an email whats_the_time_mr_wolf_@hotmail.com
