romance has nothing to do with money. any random person can throw money at you, but if the feeling isn't there, it doesn't mean a whole lot for very long. Doing romantic things is all about thoughtfulness. Remembering that he/she told you they like a certian thing and getting it for them somehow.
also, if you're romantic too much, yes it's possible, then it kinda looses it's value. sometimes less is more.
the simple things are romantic, letting them now how much they mean to you...
what i think a guy could do..
by calling to make sure she's awake early one day when you know it's an important day. and you're dead tired or like on the other side of the world.
by sending her, her favorite flower one day, for no other reason than that you care about her.
remember specific things that she likes, that she won't think you remembered, and use it to your advantage.
surprise her a little (good surprises) but be careful, not all people like surprises even good ones. if they're the type that like to know about everything and be prepared.
send her a letter, a real one. even if it's the simplest thing, like a post-it with a few words.
ooh i know a good one, make like a scavenger hunt type of thing, with different notes that lead to other notes; or something of the sort.
be creative, everyone and anyone could give me flowers and candy on valentines day. or take me out to dinner....
women are easier to romance... what about guys? what can a woman do that's romantic to a guy? DO GUYS EVEN LIKE TO BE "ROMANCED"????

There's a wonderful hotel simply tailor-made for honeymooners, with a garden, a lake, a forest, horses and a carriage, well, your typical fairy-tale Cinderella castle. I'd simply adore being taken there for one love-filled weekend.
But, since we have little money, a simple picnic in the forest would be super-sweet.
And a box of chocolates, always works for me:-)

Buy me two dozen roses and a huge teddy bear and surpirse me in front of a lot of people. Then keep surprizing me throughout the day with more gifts and little tokens of love.
