Only use HDMI cables!!! Do not use component or A/V cables. If you have a HD Cable box or HD satellite available from your cable/satellite company you'll need to upgrade to that. This will make all the difference. Don't forget to get an upconverting DVD player. If you want to take full advantage of the 16:9 widescreen format you need to buy one. They're cheap.

I wouldnt buy a 37" plasma they are the ones with the most problems buy an LCD in that size instead. Its better to buy a 42 I dont remember xactly what it was but it had to do with the design of a 37 that caused the failure
