Im currently using retin a micro and benzaclin at night. After applying this I put on neutrogena spf 15 moisturizer. However, my skin still gets a little dry and flaky. I put on moisturizer in the morning as well after washing my face. I also drink a lot of water. Whats goin on here? I have combo skin - oily/dry.......I just want my skin to be normal!

If you are using retin a and benzaclin for acne then you shouldn't be using moisturizer at all.
I recommend 3 alternatives.
1. Use a Serum instead of a moisturizer. Serums are expensive but well worth it. They suggest using Serums with a moisturizer but if you have acne just stay away from moisturizers entirely.
2. Get a Mister. Evian has a water mister that you can spray on your face when it is feeling tight. I actually use an off market product (got it from my facialist) and it has aloe, green tea and a whole bunch of other ingredients. Essentially though, its just water.
3. Get a facial. The facial will get you out of your oily/dry cycle so its like getting a fresh start with your skin.
Good luck!
