the best way is not to do that! when you starve yourself, your body will decide that you are in a famine and store anything it can and convert it to fat. once you start starving yourself you cant just turn that system off.

eat small fist sized meals, every 4 hours and you will lose weight, and still have a healthy metabolism and muscle tone.

asians are naturally slight, so dont believe them. to believe that would be like taking LSD because a user recommends it.

research and experience have shown that smaller meals, more often keeps the blood stable and the body gets only what it needs to function optimally without excess to store.

it works for gym guys wanting to gain muscle, AND for people wanting to lose fat. a stable body/blood system will help everyone stay healthy. less strain on the stomach and you will improve every function of your body, plus increase nutrient amount in a more constant level to help brain function.

its a win-win situation. even if you halve your 3x a day meals, so you have 6, and space it out, you will start to lose weight gradually. you will notice that you are no lethargic too.

give it a go. it requires no magic potions, just dedication. the first 3 weeks are the hardest as you think you are hungry, but its your old habits dying, and you will feel better for sticking to it.

no.
a balanced diet and exercise are the only 'sure' ways to lose weight.
the effect of limited weight loss may be achieved for a short time by your proposed method, but then the weight will return.
do a search on "yo-yo dieting effects", and you'll see.
