alcohol is a depressant, which tends to cause depression... your cycle also reduces the release of the "feel good hormones" your body produces...
if you do decide to drink while on your period, be prepared for a very emotional rollercoaster!

It's never a good idea to get drunk; why would you want to do that to your body and possibly do or say something you'll regret? I don't think it's anymore dangerous to get drunk during your period than at any other time, though. That is to say that it's always dangerous! Alcohol thins your blood and if you're already bleeding, your iron levels could be low.
I don't think it's bad to enjoy a few drinks, but have more respect for yourself than to simply set out to get drunk.

You should always get drunk. It's a great way to remove the pain of a failed existence.
Keep in mind that alcohol will thin the blood, creating a messier period.

Depends on how you are feeling. I know women tend to be more sensitive and a little more moody well say so if you have drank in the past and tend to be either emotional or angry i would avoid it all together during this time. If not then just use moderation and have fun it might help make that time a little less depressive and pick up the spirits.

Rashid, what the hell is the factor on your life? Either approach, Energy beverages in general include a tonne of sugar, certainly the inexpensive no manufacturer power beverages. I consider a million an afternoon is more often than not tolerable, however even then you are ingesting plenty of sugar, in way over what you must be. If you undertaking generally this should not be a hindrance, if you do not, simply slash somewhat, all of it is helping.

If you have to ask...its a bad idea.
Alcohol isn't recommended when menstruating simply because it can irritate the symptoms you already have. So can caffeine, Salt, fat, and sugar. Its not dangerous.
