basically need it for security in the house but cannot really look it up on the net as I don't know what it called but remember seeing it somewhere. It's a small alarm gadget that make a lot of noise when the piece of equipment it's under is moved. If you know the website I can find it, will be most appreciated

Viper made a device like this, it was a self contained battery powered movement sensor, if I find some info I will add it later.

No luck with Viper, they no longer market it, these may help though !??

It sounds like it does have a battery backup in it notwithstanding. And it truly is saying replace ME NOW! As all of them bypass off in case you hit the attempt button, you're excellent in that they are plugged in to the abode electric powered equipment and per chance have an interconnecting line between them. A connection to a substantial alarm panel would make the conception of human being battery backup unnecessary as which could provide each and each of the capacity and backup in a unmarried position lower than strong charge. stay away from the frenzy and err on the aspect of safe practices. call the electrician. those products are trouble-free sufficient that a Radio Shack guy could do it. (nicely per chance no longer now as they only promote cell telephones.) yet once the guy receives the lay of the land which includes your equipment, he can hook you up with a touch 411 on the way it fairly works.
