she can go back to ie6. to do that you have to do system restore, it's the best way to get rid of the browser.

I suppose, you r saying that Windows XP & Internet Explorer 7 is installed on ur system. So, if you want IE6, click on Start>Control Panel> Add or Remove Programs. Scroll down & look for Windows Internet Explorer 7. Click on it and click on Remove. Once IE7 is uninstalled, you will be asked to restart ur system. After restart, IE7 will be automatically rolled back to IE6. However, I do not recommend you to do so as IE7 has enhanced security features.
You don't need to connect to internet to uninstall IE7.

If IE6 is on the ISP disk, simply uninstall IE7 and install IE6 from the disk. No need to connect to the internet

1. you have to be connected to the Internet to be able to change back from IE7 to IE6, once you have removed IE7 from your computer you will be left with a workable version of IE6.
2. even if you have IE7 installed on your computer, there is no need to re-load your ISP disk for you already have an account with your provider.
3. your computer will re-configure itself and will work as normal once you plug in your cable modem. " with IE6 or IE7 "
I have IE7 on my computer and have not had any problems with it

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP
Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove."
Uninstall that,restart your PC and you are on IE6

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customisable to suit your needs and no problems.

You should just need to go to add/remove programs and remove IE7. It doesn't ned an inernet connection to do this
