I will be 19 tomorrow...
and I started to date one of my ex boyfriends who I love very much again.
For Christmas he got me a heated blanket and a hoodie.
Before he has gotten me a purse and a necklace and stuff like that.
He asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I said IDK, as usual, cause Im not materialistic and I dont like telling people to buy me stuff. Its the thought that counts.
But hes stubborn so he said hes gunna take me to the mall on my birthday tomorrow which Im not too excited about cause I rather him choose buuuuut yeah what should I say I want?
I like everything but I dont wanna say I want something too much and too little or whatever.... So what should I do?

yeah idk my boyfriend is weird about stuff
like... hes always 2nd guessing himself
i always tell him "if its from u, ill automatically love it" but he always gets paranoid... but i always love was he gets anyways so i dont understand
but ill prolly iether pick out a couple of things and tell him to pick (like shirts or something) or tell him to pick out 3 things and ill pick one... cuz i already told him id rather just go out and spend the day with him but he really wants to get me something...

Gift cards are no fun. Here are some suggestions or maybe it will lead you in the right direction; satellite radio for your car, get your car detailed, a trip for just you to the day spa, a romantic night at one of those hot tub spas for you two to cozy up together, a manicure and pedicure, digital camera, new radio for you car (or speakers/subs), DVDs of your favorite TV show(s) season, a new jacket or piece of clothing that you've been eyeing but never wanted to spend your money on, or even just a day you guys do something fun you've never done before and have a nice dinner together.

I have the same problem as you... why dont you ask for a gift card to your favorit store or to the mall. That way, he can give you something for your birthday but you dont have to go shopping with him. Explain your problem - I explained it to my boyfriend and past boyfriends, and they all understood...

Tell him that you just want something from the heart.
And you might want to add that it doesn't have to be a gift, more like a special day together, or something.
You could also say that he doesn't have to give it to you tomorrow, and give him time to think.

first of, there's no such thing as loving again.
but if you want him to suprise you , and u want thim to go and buy it without you knowing what he got.
make a list, with an item you want and others you dont' really want, and tell him not to buy you anything, but if he wants to there is an item you want on there (or write a note sayin the same thing and put it where he can find it). ANd see if he knows wat u like.

tell him to take u on a ski-trip or something like that where it takes planning from him but the whole thing will be about u guys spending time together :)
