Has anyone had a good experience learning medical billing at a college or university in the New York city area?

There are many scams out there that try to get you to pay to learn how to do medical billing. The problem with medical billing is that most doctors offices have an in-house person that does their billing. Trying to find doctors that are willing to let that part of their business out into another persons hands is nearly zero.
Do some homework. Go to doctors offices and ask how they handle their billing. If you want to work in a doctors office, doing their billing, ask the doctors office managers what the best way for you to get that type of job would be. Never trust the people that are trying to sell you their services.
