I give my dog bottled water, especially in the summer when we are out for a walk, he has his own bottle with a special cap on the end, its kinda like the end of a hamster water bottle with the metal ball inside the tube! We just change the end on the bottle. To me my dog is as important as one of my children, so I give him the best no matter what his nature is. I don't think your crazy at all!!

I give my dogs bottled water, but we are on a well, and I don't drink the water either. It is just a waste of money if there is no real reason.

Heck, I think it's ridiculous to give people bottled water, so yes, it's definitely silly to give a dog bottled water.

I don't think it matters if you do bottle or tap water. But if you start with bottle then switch to tap it might upset the dogs stomach a few days until he get use to tap water.

Yes. It is ridiculous. Most dogs will drink from the toilet if you let them. What do they know if it's bottled water or not? Unless your supply is contaminated, tap water is just fine.

No I do not feed my dogs anything I could not and would not eat so I will not give my dogs tap water because I do not drink it.

IMO-yes. Dogs drink out of mud puddles, eat poop and roll around on dead things. I really don't think it cares or knows the difference between tap and bottled.
