I LOVE POMS!! They are the cutest dogs everrrr!! My 8-wk-old pom is CRATE-TRAINED and almost always poops in the litterbox I am training him to use, his bladder is way too small, so he is not as good with the litterbox on that front. Chihuahuas, on the other hand, seem to be so snippy, difficult, and annoying. All the people I know who have chihuahas have to deal with annoying, yappy, and over-protective little monsters. Of course, this might have to do with the low quality so many irresponsible breeders are producing. **Have you hear of "long-coated" Chihuahuas?? They are much cuter than the smooth coated. Whatever breed you pick, I suggest you research breeders and make sure you are getting a high-quality dog bred to conform to breed standards. Good luck!!
PS: I have read that the long coated variety was developed by breeding Chihuahuas with Papillons, POMERANIANS, and other toy breeds.

I think there's nothing as cute as a little apple head Chihuahua.They are just so much personality.Poms are cute, but the hair gets to me.Don't mix the breeds, that takes away from some of their beauty.

I have both, i think thier both cute. If you like fluffy pups, then get the pom. If you like shorter hair then get the chi, I've never seen a pom chi mix so i don't know bout that one, if you can't decide get the mix so you have a little of both.

chihuahua gets my vote . I'm biased though cause i have one and he is spoiled rotten . I think all dogs are spoiled rotten .
