Is it normal for a 4 year old to do this?

I saw my 4 year old stepson trying to put his penis inot his 12 month old baby brothers mouth. I am very concerned about this. I asked him if someone did that to him or told him to do that. He said no that he thought of it on his own. He is with me most of the time but at his moms sometimes. I am concerned that his stepbrother at moms has been teaching him "things". Is this normal toddler curiosity or should we take this further?

My son is 4 years old and he has never tried doing anything like that to his little brother. He's never been exposed to anything like that. I don't think things like that just pop into a kids head. He was probably told not to tell anyone where he learned it. You should definitely tell his Dad and get him in to see a counselor. Have his Dad tell his mom. This is very troubling that a 4 year old would have to deal with something like this.

I truly haven't any answer to this. I truly have an same project. I artwork at an afternoon care and there is a 4 year old who does this also. we've also stuck her touching herself and he or she even put in merchandise interior her. They deliver her in attire ( huge mistake) because she is always flashing her panties. we've some different ladies who also "hump" their blankets. All also are 4 years old. i'm at a stump for this to boot. the first female mom is customary with about this and he or she only laughs it off? i wager she sees no longer some thing incorrect in this yet some how i do not because i do not see most of the different ladies doing this assume for the different 2.

Something similar happened to my frinds kid and cousin and it turned out her brother was molesting her son and his own son. So they were molesting each other in "play" as obviously he taught them it was a game.
Go to a child pysch, Dr and whoever is the child welafare or protection agency where you live straight away, see someone as this isnt normal behaviour.
But get this looked into now before it goes on to long.

I'm not a child behaviorist, but this does not seem normal. He probably saw something, maybe adult videos at his mom's house, or else someone has been feeding him stories or ideas that this is cool. I would keep talking to him about it until he says something, and consult a professional

That is weird. Many boys like to play with their own penises but putting it in something strikes me as off.

You should talk to your son's doctor or a counsellor. Unfortuneatly situations like this have a possiblilty of getting out of hand even if nothing is happening. But you should really get some professional advice in case someting really is happening.

I don't think that is normal. He must of seen it somewhere or something. Maybe he accidentally saw a porn mag or something somewhere. I'd check more into this. Child protective services could take him away if they knew about this or they will watch your family very closely.
I personally know of a family going through this and CPS stepped in and is watching them.

Please, for God's sake, Go and see a specialist and have the other family investigated. This is SERIOUS! Get a professional involved. Do not ask too many questions that are open ended, he might make up something or just agree. God bless your family.

Not normal.. he probably saw it some where.. or maybe it is out of courosity.. you should keep monitoring his unusal behavior and go to a psychoglist if it happens again.

i have 4 boys, they all played with their own at that age, but never with each others, this is weird.

what about your stepsons realy parents, do they know? they need to be told!, it would be worth speaking to a doctor see what they recomend
