After completion of Boot Camp and the Anti-Tank Assaultman Course at the School of Infantry; would a Marine of anything (what-so-ever) on his uniform? You always see the Army/Marines with abunch of patch like things all over there uniform. Is there one that every Marine gets after BC? Or after completion at the School of Infantry or anything?

If you've been in for six months, you'll have the National Defense Service Medal. For the record, I'm in the army, and never got an award for urination.

As a Marine commissioned officer, I must correct you on a few things you stated... The only patches an enlisted Marine will ever wear on dress and service uniforms will be rank and service patches. Marines do not wear unit or organizational patches, the Army does that. Marines do wear authorized ribbons and medals on the prescribed uniforms. For more detailed answers to your question, please refer to the link I have provided, it is the Marine Corps uniform regulation. Good Luck.

At this time, he would likely have one medal/ ribbon, National Defense. He would also have his shooting badge under the ribon. On his/ her sleeve, he would either have nothing or one chevron/stripe(PFC).

If he was prior service in some other branch of the service, he would be entitled to wear any personal medals, ribbons, etc that he earned. Unit awards are not allowed. This is not that common though.

Army dogs get a ribbon for peeing straight...Marines earn them for good conduct, over seas deployment, war time service, flight school completion, time in service and several other commendations.
