Ask your groom what he pictures you in. Likely he will say it is up to you. If so, I recommend a dress that makes you look so stunning that you would want to wear it again. I wore my wedding dress (second marriage) out on the town for our 1st wedding anniversary and on our 5th. I wore it several other special occasions until I finally wore it out. Whenever I put it on it reminded both of us of that wonderful day. Which by the way will be 20 years ago this March.

Well, I wouldn't get a white, big poofy dress. Mainly because that's what I had for my wedding, and now I think I look stupid in my wedding pictures. I would go much simpler, probably not even wear a train (since they're a pain in the rear), I would wear probably a champagne or even mocha colored dress.

It would depend on whether it is a first marriage for him. If it was his first, and I was madly in love enough to give marriage a second try, I would go for a typical white gown. I don't necessarily think that the stigmas that go with dress colors are paid much attention to anymore. If it is a second marriage for both of you and the ceremony is on the smaller side, I would go with a lighter color, maybe knee length.

Well, I certainly wouldn't choose the traditional white gown! That's for first weddings! Pick a light color that looks good on you. I think tea length looks nice on most women, and they still look elegant. Keep the wedding on the small side for family and close friends.

Best wishes to you both!

Depends on your age. You can get by with a little more when you're 25 than when you're 65. But always it should be something tasteful.

Will the wedding be formal or an intimate gathering of family & friends? Day or evening? Summer or winter? Colored or white dress?

Since it would be a small, quieter wedding - something simple and classy, maybe just a nice dress in mocha color or something like that - but not a wedding gown.

Depends on the type of wedding. But definitely wouldn't be white and big. Something delicate and beautiful, maybe something ivory, baby blue...

I wore a floor length, slim fitting dress in really dark burgundy. It was nice and simple, but a bit too plain really.
