My ex-boyfriend dumped me a year ago, yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. I went with him, he picked me up & after the movie he just took me home.On the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to see me 'every once in awhile'. Why does he wanna hang out and see me once in awhile, when we only dated for one month? By the way, we never had sex during our relationship cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. We would cuddle, kiss, hug, & hold hands, it was a pure & beautiful thing. Even AFTER he ended it, he would still say hi to me on msn, so we did communicate during this yr. albeit only by msn. We just never met up & he never called me until that day he asked to go see a movie, after the yr. Does he feel guilty for dumping me & wanted to feel better by taking me out or did he miss me & wanna be friends? He's in Asia now, but comes back in one month. Should I ask for coffee one time, but just as friends?

Despite his experience with other girls does he really want a good girl like me at heart? Is he still attracted to me if he wants to hang out even as friends? He's 26 in grad school while I'm 21 & finishing university.

u shouldn't think about it that much..u were talking on the msn from time to time which means he didn't want to lose contact with you..it doesn't matter how long u've been dating but how the relationship affected you guys..u didn't mention the reason why he dumped you..if he felt quilty as u said then he would have asked u out a month afterwards and not a YEAR afterwards!!!!don't u think?maybe he just remembered u and wanted to see you again!it depends on what u want to do..r u still attracted to him?and don't forget he is 26..u r 21 and a study program going on..i wouldn't press things..just wait and time will show..Good luck

He doesn't feel guilty for dumping you. That is for SURE! He is hoping that if he stays in contact long enough, that you will give it up. Didn't you get the answer you were looking for last time you asked this question a week ago? Refer to When Harry Met Sally to find out if he just wants to be your friend. "Men and women cannot be friends."
