Try immersing it in hot water. This will cause the air inside to expand and the pressure might help. If there is wine inside it will evaporate and help with the pressure too.

Hope it doesn't have wine in it 'cause the only way I know is run the opening under very hot water. It should soften the residue that's keeping it shut.

hot water and oil will loosen it up be careful
