Thanks, Katsulov, didn't know that. I want someone who isn't a globalist though. But it has to be someone who might actually win. I'll look into those particulars.

sqwirl, I appreciate Kats point of view. I don't have an agenda on this guy, I am seeking someone to vote for is all. I DO remember the encyclopedia, we had one, turning pages and all (unlike the one I have on disk for my kids.)
Let us know if you see someone better.

I like his words but like all humans he does have a few skeletons
in his closet. The past can come up and smack you at times. You cant have a one platform person running for president.
Brent Wilkes Connection
On November 28, 2005 Rep. Duke Cunningham resigned from Congress after pleaded guilty to bribery charges. The alleged coconspirators who bribed Cunningham included two San Diego-based defense conttractors, Brent Wilkes and Mitchell Wade. Hunter came into the spotlight as it was revealed that he also had ties to Brent Wilkes, the owner of ADCS, Inc. and Perfect Wave Technologies.
Since 1994 Hunter has received $40,700 from Wilkes and his companies. In 1997 Hunter and Cunningham worked to extend a multi-million dollar earmark for Wilkes' ADCS to perform document conversion tasks for the Pentagon despite protests from the Defense Department, which claimed that ADCS' services were not needed and a waste of resources. [2] Senator John McCain denounced the House Armed Services Committee for wasting resources in the Defense appropriations bill.
One of the earmarks, worth $9.7 million, was for ADCS to convert maps of Panama into electronic documents. Hunter and Cunningham both warned, at the time, that China was planning on invading Panama and that America should have electronic documentation of the buildings in the country. They used this premise to justify their inclusion of the $9/7 million earmark that the Pentagon did not want in the appropriations bill.
In 2003, Wilkes threw a gala in honor of Hunter called 'Salute to Our Heroes'.
Contributions from convicted lobbyist
In June 2006, Public Citizen reported that Hunter has received $11,750 from lobbyist Van D. Hipp Jr., chairman of American Defense International. Hipp's firm represents more than 100 organizations in 11 countries on "government affairs" strategies. Hipp, a former deputy assistant secretary of the Army, was sentenced to five years' probation and three months' house arrest for accepting illegal campaign gifts during a failed 1994 congressional campaign. He also was fined $5,000 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.[3]
Im sure these arent election killers but you really need to "know " all the warts and blemishes as well as the good about any one running for office.

He has been as a member of the Armed Services Committee working on rebuilding the Navy, on making sure our men and women in uniform have what they need.
He is very involved with our troops (especially now overseas)Seems to be very outspoken on the subject, One look on the web will show he has put somethings into action.
He is for building a fence on the border.
I don't think many have heard enough about this man (myself included). This only would make it hard to decide if we would vote for him. What you always do before you make a decision is consult. The best public policy is made when you are listening to people who are going to be impacted. I haven't heard enough about him in all the time he has served in the house to be able to judge him, Seems he hasn't made a great enough impact yet.
I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure: which is: Try to please everybody-sometimes I see this in him with his own at times.
So in answer-I just don't know yet. I hope we hear more-thank you for this information.

WOW.......that "KAT" kinda scratched ya.......didn't she. Oh and FOX news is crappy and WHY DO I have a problem with PRESIDENT HUNTER.......or even worse DUNCAN.
Simple things YES.......but 80 percent of the populous looks at things like this........TRUE politics rarely play a role in the AVERAGE Americans voting choice .
I will have to read more (isn't google great......what did WE do when we were growing up). REMEMBER the encyclopedia? My daughter even said the other day "Don't you mean Wikepedia?"
FOX news is skewed.......
