It is very unlikely that you're pregnant. The fact that you started your period today means that there was an unfertilized egg that had dissipated and fell apart before it had a chance to become fertilized. Even if you had sex last night, the egg was probably not viable anymore.
You can only get pregnant in a very small window of time each month. While it is possible to get pregnant and any time in your cycle (my mom got pregnant with me while she was on her period), it is definitely not as likely. It all depends on when you ovulate. The link below is to an ovulation calendar that can help you predict when you might ovulate.
If you're really worried about getting pregnant, call a planned parenthood near you and get some emergency contraception. If you get some within the next 48 hours, you will not get pregnant.
I wouldn't worry if I were you, and if you're still worried, take a pregnancy test in about two weeks. By then it should be accurate. Good luck! Don't stress. You'll be fine.

There's about a five day "window" period that you can get pregnant. Usaually it's around 15 days after the onset of your cycle, during ovulation. So, Since you started this morning, the chances are slim, but it is still possible.

Not very good.
Ovulation happens 14 days before your cycle begins. This is your fetile period. Since the egg was released and not fertilized, you had your period.
I doubt you wil be pregnant. You can wait three weeks and have a pregnancy test, but it is unlikely since you were not ovulating at the time. Hope this helps!

Every girl should read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" even if you don't want to get pg. Did you take the morning after pill? I did my first time just in case just so I wouldn't get pg. But if you started your period then you probly won't. Next time - better safe than sorry so use a condom ok?

just test yourself. I mean, I would probably go to the store and get one of those pregnancy tests just to make sure.

i agree with jelly bean...
go to mymonthlycycles.com and track your period - it will tell you when you are most fertile (most likely to get pregnant) and when it's fairly safe.
