I'd like to be a hawk, or a sparrow. Something that's very agile in the air, but can still travel very long distances...
Without many natural predators, birds are the most free creatures on the planet.
No societal conventions to deal with, no expectations, no responsibilities... I envy birds so much...

I think I'd like to be a tree, just to experience what they are... I get the feeling I'd have to develop & learn a lot more before that though. Buddhists, imo, are a bit presumptuous to say humans are the highest form of life. We sure don't act like it sometimes! We're just arrogant enough to think it...
