This has been going on for a few weeks now.Very similar to the buffeting you get when windows are rolled down in car, only this is in my left ear. I do wear a headset with the ear piece on the left side and have tried to switch sides, but no luck. What kind of condidtion mught it be?

I have had the same problem for years. I'm 45 now...
My 'buffeting' scenario happens intermittent as follows:
When someone is talking to me on my left side (left ear -same as you...) the buffeting begins. My only recourse is to plug the ear or turn towards them, so the intake of sound is equil to both ears.

I really don’t have any suggestions other than sharing my own experience with said condition. I would go so far as to mention that I was prescribed Effexor and it caused the hearing in my left ear to go somewhat haywire… So it goes.

i would see a doctor cuz you probally have an earinfection or water behind the eardrum

so doctor is ur best bet
