I wrote this guy that I am madly and insanely in love with (we're pretty food friends now) a sappy love song that is surprisingly really good, but now I'm not so sure. I think it would be a good way to finally let him now, like put it on a CD and label it Bonus Track, or something. Is a song too over the top? Should I just forget it and talk to him like everybody else? What do you guys think?

By giving him a cd with a pretty heavy love song, you could really freak him out. Best case scenario: he cares about you too but the song still might make him feel like he has to do something special to show how much he cares. You should talk to him about how you think you have feelings for him and give him a chance to think and respond. Don't flat out tell him you love him. It could ruin your friendship. If he needs time to think about what you say give him time. Whatever you do don't say "haha Just Kidding!" if he doesnt respond right away. He could feel the same way but wanted to think of the right way to say it. Good luck! I hope he loves you back!
P.S. I'm sure your song is great!

specific. they many times wrote songs which dealt with somewhat stange issues... many times extremely peculiar lyrics. Love songs? Nirvana wrote some female, which would be interpreted as a love song... an analogous is going for Drain You. memories? not that i know of... humorous Songs? Beans, they're on helium.

I'd just talk to him. Songs and things like that can scare guys. You don't want him to think you're nuts.

If he loves you then he wont care; but if you both are just good friends then it might scare him off!
