get to it through control panel, and sound options. Is there anyway I can have a shortcut to it on my desktop?

Hey Dude,

WHY? I really don't know of a way to put it on your desktop.

Actually, if you go into your control panel (Windows XP) under sounds and speech, you should be able to check, "Place volume icon in the taskbar" and change it from there.

Go into Control Panel and click on Sounds. Then find the check box that says "Always display icon in the notification area" or something like that.

go to control panel, switch to classic view. then click sound and audio devices, then check the place volume icon on taskbar

Go to control panel. Go to "Sounds and devices" icon. RIGHT click on your mouse. Shortcut menu pops up. LEFT click on "create shortcut," and there you go!

go into contorl panel and then there should be volume control or sound options ajust them a bit and it may come back up or if there is a samll arrow bye a few items click on that and t will bring up more items and it may be there! ;)

click file in your browser point to send then click shortcut to desktop Poof there it is on desktop i had this trouble it worked fine after this
