I live in Florida and it's really hot ALL the time. I sweat a lot in my armpits and I get pit marks which are repulsive. Is there any deoderant that works really well for you. Or are there any products that you can tuck in your shirt to block the sweat from seeping through?

Please no sarcastic comments, it's a touchy subject. Thanks to everyone for your help.

Hey,
Excessive sweating is a clinical condition where parts of the body are sweating beyond what the body needs.
It is commonly an inherited condition and can affect those who suffer from it on a social, functional, and emotional level.
Heavy sweating (also known as hyperhidrosis) is a very real and embarrassing problem, but there are some effective ways to treat it.
Before you hide under bulky sweaters or move to a chillier climate, you can try these proven techniques for combating excessive sweating: http://hyperhidrosis.toptips.org

you can try to wear t shirts under your blouse so that at the end of the day, the sweat gets on the t shirt rather than the blouse. Most definitely antiperspirants. Don't worry if it is expensive. I would pay ten dollars for a deodorant that can do wonders. If you don't want to wear t shirts, you can do what one of my friends did, she placed towels on her bra near the armpit area, so that the sweat got in the towels. Whenever you go to the bathroom, change it with a new towel.

I use Degree. I haven't had a problem in hot weather, but I also don't deal with the heat all year like you apparently do.

Have you tried men's deodorant? It's stronger.

As far as tucking something into your shirt, there are things called dress shields, which are little pads that go in your underarm.

I would talk to your doctor. It could be something called hyperhydrosis, excessive sweating. Your doctor may be able to help you in getting some aluminum chloride, main ingredient in deodorants. This may help you and if not, Botox is another option. If Botox is an option you have to resort to, you may need to get a prior authorization from your doctor to you insurance company, just so that they pay for it as a medical condition, otherwise you will have to pay for it as a cosmetic condition. This is very expensive! Best of luck to you!

I make sure I put on enough deoderant before I leave home, and at night I make sure I wash all of the deroderant from that morning off.So the next day when I put more on i won't be putting it on top of the one from the other day.

Good luck

Your humidity in Florida is horrendous.

Living in Vegas (scorching hot summers) - I find Arrid Extra Dry (cool shower) works well for me.

Whatever you try - be sure it is both an antiperspirant and deodorant.

You may also want to try a modeling trick : Garment underarm pads, to avoid any staining to your delicate fabrics.
