Depends on several things.

1) Your Vehicle: Will it drive for 7 days without breaking down?
2) Your wallet: How much money for gas do you have?
3) Your route: Are you going in a straight line? A mountain pass?

Say you're on the west coast, and you head directly east, for 7 days, stopping 8 hours per day for sleep, and traveling an average of 60 MPH, you would travel for a total 112 hours, crossing a distance of 6,720 miles, roughly the distance from Seattle to Russia, traveling across the Atlantic.

Lets say you could average 55 miles per hour while driving.(Nearly impossible with traffic and lights etc.) Then we'll assume you will be on the road 12 hours each day. (Again, nearly impossible with sleeping , eating, rest sops etc.)

55 x 12 = 660 miles each day.

660 x 7 = 4820 miles total.

You could drive from Seattle, Washington, to New York City and then from New York City to San Antonio, Texas and still have 76 miles to cover any wrong turns!

Well I know you can go by car coast to coast in like 4 days (but it was pretty steady driving just stop for gas and food and switch drivers) so your options are pretty open! Where do you want to end up?
