This is his diet:cereal ,pbj, pizza, chicken. He will eat apples when available and greenbeans maybe twice a year.mac& cheese. He is of American/Mexican parents. a little shorter than average and wears husky sizes. He does not eat many sweets or sodas.I know he needs more veggies. . How can we get him to eat these? He stays somewhat active with football, baseball and bicycling just not on a regular basis. He even has a little cellulite around his midsection. Will he outgrow this?

this is kinda common i think in kids...let him have pizza, but add some stuff with it...like instead of drinking soda, give him apple juice, and have carrots or celery sticks on the side. Chicken is good for you, it just depends what kind. Try stuffed chicken with veggies and potateos. You could also add strawberries, blueberries, etc with cereal..hope this helps!

veggies and dip is a fun way to have healthy food. You can also sneak it in like macaroni and cheese with peas in it or spaghetti with grated zuchini in it
