How do you come to know, presume or interpret, the word of God that man’s finite wisdom has placed into scrolls ?
Are not holy men charlatans pretending to know the word ?
How can the word written by mortal hands be presumed to be God's words ?

Serious answers please.

Appologies to all the contributors whose question was removed without grounds by the typical cheerless YA.

COMMENTS:
How can man presume an accurate recording since the foces that be had a large hand in deciding what went into the Bible, Kuran, Torah and all other religious text.

Dominant forces throughout time knew psychological warfare, then as is now, is fought through the hearts and minds of people as clearly evident in the Middle East.

To assume that man is a vessel for God to form the bible appear to contradict to the belief that man is not able to go near god before their time on Earth. Spiritual forces that be would have sundered soul from man.

Disturbingly evident is of prevailing underlying values that pervades all the three and in other religions and beliefs. Is there the possibility of mass plagiarism ?

I cannot prove it.

That is why I feel there is basis of authenticity in all faiths however; I do not personally believe one has to "be" of a certain particular faith (religion) because that is not a likely possibility to belong to everyone.

Look in Daniel and Revelations and you will find prophecies that predict over a thousand years in advance what is going to happen down to the season. Do you not think a God that can create a man could also tell that man what to write down and how to interpret it so he can know what is coming in the future? If I tell you the words to write and I made you and programmed you, don't you think I would know how to get you to write what i want written by you? How much more with God that knows the beginning from the end. There are prophecies that tell the name of the king that will be in power a thousand years before he was born. Sounds like the one that wrote that had to get some help from somewhere or he could not have been so accurate.

Because some of us holy men that you talk about have the word living inside us.
We pay special attention that every word of the original text is understood in its context.

As to the ones that wrote the original scrolls, it is believed that the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of God that hovered over all the earth in the beginning, placed the thoughts into the mind of the authors.

Yes I know it to be the Word of the Living God.

I have Israeli citizenship and have lived in Israel for 5 years and also learned in Ulpan.

Whenever the other Israeli's read the word in Hebrew and then interpreted it into English for others, it was almost word for word to my King James version. My wife is a sabra (native Israeli) and it has been confirmed over and over.
When we went to Cyprus where the native tongue is Greek, the natives also confirmed that the King James version is almost word for word as well.

The Words of God were written by many men whom the Spirit of God came upon and told them what to write.

The scribes who made copies of the Word had strict guidlines that they had to keep when making written copies.

The dead sea scrolls are from the time of Jesus and if there were any errors He would have pointed them out.
Instead He quoted frequently from it.

I have read it over and over many times and have been amazed at how welll the old testament blends with the new.The more I read the more I see that I never saw before as he gives me deeper insight to His Word.
It is the never ending Book of Books.

It is archeologically, historically, and prophetically proven to be the Word of God.
I have felt His Spirit come upon me many times and if I denied it as the truth, I would only be lying to myself because I have seen to much.

Peace be within thee.

Because all the words were ordained by God. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Rev. 22:19

The Bible is absolute truth, and the warning is plain that anyone who takes away from the words of Revelation will have his part (his name) taken out of the book of life.

You are going on the false assumption that God couldn't write down His words through men. If He could create men, then He certainly could use them to reveal Himself. If You don't already believe in God, this was just a dumb question.

The Bible was written by people, therefore, we descide weather to trust these people and what they say. The thing about the different religions is that they interpret them differently, so read it yourself, get what you can out of it, and find the religion that thinks the same as you.

Me personally, religion as we know it today was made to control the masses. One doesn't need to go to church to be spiritual.

The over all theme of the Bible is "Love & Forgiveness" they run throughout. They are the first and last word of the Bible.

the Bible IS NOT open to interpretation.
It is the Holy Word of God.
it was inspired 100% by God.
those who wrote it wrote only what God wished them to write.
It says what it says.
it means what it says.
it is error free.
It is 100% Truth.
go pick on the qur'an,
it's a MUCH easier target.
