Please no slander or bashing,
Jesus said “if they are not against us they are with us,...are they with us?”
Please tell me where you get your information from, The bible is a good place to start.
It would be nice to hear from a Jehovah’s witness.
Thank you.

Gee thanks there for giving us the time to explain your views on the subject.
With what you said though, about Jesus and God being different, well sorry that is not of the Holy Ghost. Jesus is God as it is written. Where you see Him you see The Father, I do not recommend you argue that point with God, To try to divide His house may be an error you rather not make.

Thank you for your view, Do not the J/W think that all Christianity is Babylon and that only the j/w have an accurate knowledge of the Bible?
What does it mean to be a Christian? How would you answer?
To a Christian it would mean to repent of all your sin and to ask Jesus into your life to surrender to Him and receive the Holy Ghost, and walk the rest of your days on eart and forever in the Holy Spirit. You seem to have a better answer, but I’ll stick with what I’ve been born with.
Thasnk you PEACE

I don't believe they have truly been born again yet, because they haven't confessed Jesus Christ their Lord & Savior. Some may have though. But when one has a relationship with God restored, one knows the Identity of Jesus Christ as Lord & God. They are doubting Thomass before seeing His side and hands. When Thomas saw, he confessed, "My Lord & my God.".
Most are in a pre-salvation state. Until they confess Jesus Christ Lord of their life and believe in their heart the atonement for sins and resurrection.

The Latinized Greek term Khristianos′, found only three times in the Christian Greek Scriptures, designates followers of Christ Jesus, the exponents of Christianity.—Ac 11:26; 26:28; 1Pe 4:16
. They believe that “all Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial.” (2 Timothy 3:16) And although some have claimed that we are not really Christians, this is simply not true. We endorse completely the apostle Peter’s testimony regarding Jesus Christ: “There is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved.”—Acts 4:12.
However, since Jesus said that he is “God’s Son” and that the “Father sent me forth,” Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that God is greater than Jesus. (John 10:36; 6:57) Jesus himself acknowledged: “The Father is greater than I am.” (John 14:28; 8:28) Thus we do not believe that Jesus is equal with the Father, as the Trinity doctrine says. Rather, we believe that he was created by God and that he is subordinate to Him.—Colossians 1:15; 1 Corinthians 11:3.

God takes into consideration where each man was born...in other words He knows the heart and what each person understood in his upbringing. Psalms 87:6
"Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth." John 9:41
If someone does not know truth God will judge accordingly.
Basically, this applies to any person and any religion including JW
Luke 12:47,48 talks about punishment being according to what someone has knowledge of. If you have a lot of knowledge God will hold you more responsible and you will be punished more if you do not obey Him.

Yes!! Indeed, the whole way of life of Jehovah's Witnesses is imitating their Exemplar, Jesus Christ. Being a "Christian" involves living by and following his commandments, not just lip service. The reason Jehovah's Witnesses preach is because they follow Jesus' example and command found at Matthew 24:14 & 28:19, 20. Many religions claim to be "Christian" but do not follow what he teaches, such as participation in war & politics.
A conference of religious leaders in Spain noted this: “Perhaps (the churches) are excessively neglectful about that which precisely constitutes the greatest preoccupation of the Witnesses—the home visit, which comes within the apostolic methodology of the primitive church. While the churches, on not a few occasions, limit themselves to constructing their temples, ringing their bells to attract the people and to preaching inside their places of worship, [the Witnesses] follow the apostolic tactic of going from house to house and of taking advantage of every occasion to witness.”—El Catolicismo, Bogotá, Colombia, September 14, 1975, p. 14. Jehovah’s Witnesses are an accepted Christian religion actively engaged in their worship, now in more than 230 countries and islands of the sea worldwide.
What does it mean to be a Christian? How would you answer?
Their way of life center around faith in Jesus Christ, who is “the way and the truth and the life.” (John 14:6.)

Simply and respectfully, NO! Christians believe in The Deity of Jesus Christ as The Only Son of God. They believe that Jesus was just a good man, teacher, or messenger. Jesus taught that you can't get to the Father except through Him. They also do not believe in hell, just a purgatory or a place in between...and only the 144,000 can go to heaven. They also have written their own version of a bible.
Although all the J W's I have encountered are nice, respectable citizens who live clean lives, they are not the same. PEACE!!!
Also, the other part of your question: I don't think their for us but against us. The reason being is that I have never met but one J W that did not try and talk me out of Christianity(Usually they initiate the debate) meaning that I was put in a situation of listening to them or usually debating with with them. They are very pro active to debate and argue. PEACE!!!
To go against the teachings of Jesus is to go against the teaching of Christianity, as Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Light and there is no other way except by through Him. J W's try to get to The Father but not through Jesus. Don't be fooled, J W's are not Christians. They also teach that Jesus was created. But read St. John 1rst chapter and Collossians, Hebrews, and Ephesians where we are taught that Jesus (The Word, Second of The Trinity) has always been and will always be. And Paul wrote much of those scriptures also that they say they believe. But they don't live by it. PEACE!!!
****Thankyou for your nice comments. By the way, I am also born again and filled with the Holy Ghost, being baptized in His Spirit. PEACE!!!****

Is a person who "claims" to have repented of their sins and accepted the Salvation of Christ is a Christian?
Or, is a person who "claims" to have repented of their sins, accepted the Salvation of Christ, and shows it by their heartfelt desire to spread the good word of Christ in the manner he designated, a Christian?
JW accept the salvation of Christ, but their public declaration of this is found in their baptism, not by going around telling people this. Instead, they teach people everything about Christ and his Father. Their choice of Salvation is up to them, when they can do so based on accurate knowledge and not just what some paid preacher on pedestal tells them.

Most Evangelical and Fundamentalist Christians would say that JWs are a cult, and therefore not Christians.
But from an anthropological perspective, both JWs and ALL other Christian sects are ALL CULTS, including the RC Church, Methodists, etc.
They are just variations on the theme. JWs are a bit uptight and mean to each other, if you dare to disagree. Not much different than Baptists, etc.
Just more dribble about an angry God -- they live in as much fear and terror as most other religious folk.

JWs do not believe in the divinity of Christ. Though its debatable, I would have to say that no, I would categorize them in a different way than calling them Christian, much in the same way I think about Mormons
